Supervisor Smith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by Quakenbush, supported by Huber, to approve minutes of December 6, 2014.

TREASURER’S REPORT
Motion by Ash supported by Huber to approve the treasurer’s report of Jan. 5, 2015: balance of $1,939,500.36 and overall balance of $2,480,276.47.

MOSQUITO CONTROL
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to approve the 2015 mosquito control contract with APM for $81,987.25.

NEW BUSINESS
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR TIM BEBEE
Bebee was absent. Quakenbush stated he is still waiting for maps from the tribe for Crescent Consulting to be able to finish the master plan.
REMOVE FORMER DEPUTY TREASURER FROM SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to remove former deputy treasurer, Andrea Hernandez, and add current deputy treasurer, Kathy VanderKolk, to the Merchantile safe deposit box.
Motion carried.
PC AND ZBA TERM EXPIRATIONS
Due to absence of the supervisor was tabled until February meeting,
2015 MEETING SCHEDULE
Motion by Ash, supported by Huber, to approve the 2015 Chippewa township meeting schedule.
Motion carried.
Motion by Ash, supported by Gill, to pay per diem and mileage for board members to attend 2015 Council of Government meetings, local MTA meetings, road commission meetings and the clerk and treasurer to attend meetings with the county clerk and county treasurer.

Motion unanimously carried.
The federal mileage rate for 2015 is 57.5 cents per mile.
Motion by Ash, supported by Quakenbush, to keep the 2015 mileage rate at 50 cents.
