APM Mosquito Control has been contracted by Chippewa Township to provide an integrated mosquito abatement program for the 2022 mosquito season. This will consist of treatment of standing water in all potential mosquito larvae breeding sites and truck fogging of streets to control adult mosquito populations. Notice is hereby given to all residents of Chippewa Township that all persons protesting their property assessment must complete a petition prior to appearing before the Board of Review. Petition forms will be available online or can be filled out in person. Petitioners are allowed ten minutes to present their position. A personal appearance is not required if a petition has already been submitted to the assessor for the Board of Review; a letter of petition may also be submitted, and all letters will be fully considered as a formal petition. Letters/petitions must be submitted by March 14, 2022 to the Chippewa Township Hall, 11084 E Pickard Rd, Mt Pleasant MI 48858. immediately following the 7:00 pm regular township board meeting.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
